About the Journal
International Obstetrics and Gynecology is a leading international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research across a wide spectrum of topics within the field. Our aim is to provide a robust platform for the publication of substantial and innovative research findings that address the complexities and diverse facets of gynecology and obstetrics. The scope of the journal include, but is not limited to, the following key areas: traditional and emergent issues in gynecology such as menstrual disorders, cervical and endometrial cancer, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and innovative treatments in gynecologic oncology; advances in obstetrics including management of pregnancy-related complications like HELLP syndrome, diabetes in pregnancy, and cesarean delivery; newer surgical techniques such as vaginal surgery and interventions for fallopian tube cancer; and topics covering reproductive technologies such as artificial insemination and contraception methods. Moreover, the journal serves as a forum for exploring complex case scenarios like gallbladder disorders during pre- and post-pregnancy, myxoid leiomyosarcoma, and cholinergic toxicity. It also addresses rarer conditions such as allantoic cyst, adherent placenta, and Schiller-Duval bodies. Additionally, our coverage extends to the broader medical, surgical, and clinical advances impacting women's health globally, including discussions on midwifery, the role of cosmetology in gynecological practice, and the impact of infectious diseases like sexually transmitted diseases on reproductive health.
